I am taking the Mediterranean cruise in May with my husband and 5 children. We can't wait! We will be on the Magic. Do we need to sign up in advance for a show time, like you do for dinner? Thank you!

    Hi, Heidi!

A HUGE congratulations on your upcoming Mediterranean cruise aboard the Disney Magic -- what a blessed family you are!  And you're taking your five children? This has to be a vacation of a lifetime.  Your children's lives will be enriched because of this wonderful collective family experience.

Okay...enough of my living vicariously through you.  Let's get down to some planning. For all Disney Cruise Line ships, your show time is determined by your dinner seating.  If you have the first seating for dinner (usually around 6 p.m.), then your show time will be afterward (around 8:30 p.m.).  And of course, the opposite works the same -- if you requested the second seating, your show time will be before dinner.  If your vacation has been fully paid, you can see your preferences in the Planning Center of DisneyCruise.com, and your show tickets will be printed and available in your stateroom upon arrival.

I hope that helps you plan! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
