We are taking the magical express from orlando airport to port Canaveral. However when I checked in to my cruise online, it let me select a port arrival time. If I catch the earliest express, will I make the 1045-1115 PAT I asked for??

    Hi Megan!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Kudos! Sounds like you have already added Disney Cruise Line ground transportation for your entire party to Port Canaveral on your cruise reservation. Like you, I much prefer letting Disney do the driving: I don’t have the hassle of driving and parking, and I’m much more chill having ridden in a motor coach to the port and getting to sit back and anticipate my upcoming cruise!

Depending on when your flight arrives at Orlando International Airport, you can potentially be on one of the first motor coaches bound for Port Canaveral. Another bonus: since you're flying in the morning of your cruise, Disney takes care of your luggage, so you simply climb aboard the motorcoach and you’re off to the port! On the way, enjoy Disney Cruise Line videos and Disney cartoons during the approximately one hour drive...they make the time go by much faster!

During your ride to the port, download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once onboard, you can access a full schedule of activities, entertainment, menus, and deck plans PLUS use the chat feature to keep connected with family and friends onboard.

Since you chose an early Port Arrival Time, you'll likely receive a lower boarding number that will allow you to step onto the ship closer to when Guests are welcomed aboard. In my experience, the ship is not cleared for Guests to begin boarding until at least 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., so there’s still plenty of time for you to get checked in and be ready to board when your number is called.

Guess what? You don’t need a boarding number or transfers if you have more questions about your cruise! Simply drive back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and we’ll be happy to assist you as you cross the finish line to your magical voyage.

    Happy Sailing!
