When taking the Kilimanjaro Safari ride at Animal Kingdom, which side of the vehicle is best for photo taking?

Hi Diana!  The Kilimanjaro Safari is one of my family's favorite attractions in the Animal Kingdom park. It is fun in the rain, sun, early morning, mid day, and late afternoon.  Each time you trek out into the Savannah it will be a completely different experience seeing different animals doing different things.

Because you will never know where the animals will be or what they will be doing it is hard to say there is a better side to the vehicles for viewing. Usually if you have three or more in your family you will have the entire row and thus can get pictures from both sides by passing a camera back and forth. Young children must sit in the middle and not at the end of the rows for safety reasons.

If I had to choose a side I perhaps would choose the left side. This is especially true towards the end of the ride as that is the side where you will find the elephants, cheetahs, lions, and warthogs. It is also the side for the best photo opportunity of the hippos and baboons. The wildebeest, antelope, giraffe, and many other animals go back and forth all the time so any side is good.

Take a look at all the other details for the Kilimanjaro Safari ride.
