Hi! We are taking all kids(6)& grandkids (5) to WDW in Januay. Grandpa and 3 sons are running in half marathon. We are treating grandaughters to Bibibty Bopity Boutique. What is there for the grandsons that would be as special & memorable?

Hi Judy! What awesome grandparents you are! Your granddaughters are going to love being transformed into princesses at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique -- my own daughter adores going there. Did you know the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique also offers a Knight Package for boys? It includes a hairstyle with sparkly gel and a Hidden Mickey, a sword, and a shield with a dragon on it. The cost for the Knight Package with tax is $15.93. Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-STYLE.

If your grandsons aren't interested in becoming knights, they can become transformed into pirates at The Pirates League. For $29.95 plus tax, boys (or girls) can be transformed into scary pirates -- the makeover includes one of five facial effects, an eyepatch, earring, bandanna, sword and much more. The Pirates League is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and you can make reservations by calling 407-WDW-CREW. At the end of the day, the pirates are invited to participate in a parade through Adventureland.

Downtown Disney also has lots of fun activities for boys. Consider taking  your grandsons to DisneyQuest.  This indoor interactive theme park is filled with virtual-reality rides and games -- you can even design your own roller coaster and then take a ride on it! Another option is a trip to the Ridemakerz store, where your grandsons can build custom remote-controlled toy race cars, or a trip to the Lego store, where they'll see amazing Lego sculptures outside, have an opportunity to build  their own, and of course, buy a new set. Finally, your grandsons might enjoy a ride on Characters in Flight -- this tethered hot air balloon ascends 400 feet above Downtown Disney. The ride costs $18 for adults and $12 for children and offers an exhilarating view of Disney World.

Hope that your visit is magical! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
