I am taking my 3 kids to WDW next week; ages 3, 5, 11. My husband can't go but my parents are so I have help. Aside from the ride swap are there any other insider secrets for adults "out numbered" by children?

    Hi Tanya,

That is too bad that your husband won't be able to make the trip, but how lucky you are to have your parents with you!

As a mom of three as well, I have done Disney by myself and there have been times where you do feel out numbered.

I would see if your parents are interested in some alone time with one of the kids at different intervals throughout the day.  They could take one of the little ones on a ride while you take another one to a different ride.
Or if you feel comfortable, you could let your 11yr old go on some of the "bigger" rides by himself.  You could get a walkie talkie or have him meet you back at a certain meeting spot.

My best suggestion is to have fun, practice patience because you will be the go-to parent on this trip.  Lean on your parents when you can.

    Have a wonderful time!!
