Hey there, Maria! You must be so excited about your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I love large group trips to
Disneyland Resort. One reason is that we all have different must-do lists. Most times when I go with a large group, I end up trying something I would never have done on my own and really enjoying it.
During my last trip to Disneyland Resort, my extended family also used a travel agent for two separate households. Like you, they had the same confirmation number even though it was two separate parties. Whether your reservation has the same confirmation number or two separate ones, you can still coordinate plans for the larger group very easily.
My first recommendation is to designate someone who will manage all the plans. You may also consider two people: one for
dining plans and a second for
Genie+. For dining reservations, whoever is booking the reservations can manually enter the number of people. The dining reservation does not need to be linked to a specific theme park ticket.
For Genie+, I recommend having at least one person who scans everyone’s ticket into their own
Disneyland Mobile App. It will make it much easier for one person to book everyone’s
Lighting Lane in one transaction instead of multiple people trying to do so simultaneously. The designated person can add everyone's tickets to their Disneyland Mobile App either in advance (if you have everyone’s ticket barcode) or while inside the park once you meet. To link a ticket, open the Disneyland Mobile App, select the menu option in the bottom-right, then “Tickets and Passes.”
Have a magical experience at the Disneyland Resort!
Best wishes,
Lola
