We're taking our kids (girl-6, boy-3) to Disney for the first time! I'm torn about which resort to stay at. The Royal Rooms at Port Orleans or the Ariel Room at AOA? A Princess Theme is important for my girl and ease of transportation for my toddler boy

    Hi Alisia!

That's a tough one! They are both fabulous!!! Taking in consideration your little boy, I recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort! Your daughter will love the Little Mermaid rooms but the best part of this resort is the Big Blue Pool! This pool is a zero entry pool themed with characters from Finding Nemo and includes a splash area for the little ones! When I stayed at this resort, I brought my 3 year old nephew along and he went wild when we walked around the different areas of this resort, especially the Cars area! I highly recommend that you check out the pictures on this page: Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Hope this helps!

It has been a pleasure assisting you! If I can help you with any other questions, please feel free to send them my way!

    Happy Planning!
