We are taking the kids on our first trip to Disney World in June. I bought Magic Bands for all five of us, but I accidentally assigned my daughter's band to my wife. Can I change the guest this band is assigned to? We are all on the same MDE account.

Hey Howdy Hey Vic and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear that you and your family will be joining us in the Most Magical Place on Earth for the first time in just a few weeks! There is so much excitement going on at the Walt Disney World Resort making this the perfect time to visit. Thank you for stopping by with your question about MagicBand assignments. You've got a friend in me to give you more information on getting this issue corrected. Giddy up!

It never fails, you go through the full roll call of MagicBand assignments and which ones go to whom and come to find out you mix up one of them. Vic, I have been there before! The only way I was able to get this situation taken care of before our vacation was by calling Disney. You can speak to a Cast Member about reassigning MagicBand to the right Guest and they will be able to get this done for you. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no other way to get these bands reassigned. Make sure you have the bands close by during your phone call, the Cast Members may need the numbers on the back to verify. This should be a quick fix to get you back to all the excitement you have to look forward to during your upcoming vacation.

During your visit, there will be a lot going on throughout the parks and resorts. So much excitement will be around Magic Kingdom as we anxiously await more information on the opening of the reimagined attraction Tiana's Bayou Adventure scheduled to open this summer. I hope you also are familiar with your My Disney Experience app as TRON Lightcycle / Run is available through Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane purchase. This super thrilling attraction will take you onto the grid for a high-speed race you won't soon forget!

I hope you can resolve your MagicBand situation quickly so you can get back to all of the excitement of planning your vacation. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
