We are taking our kids (3 & 11) on their (and my) first trip to Disney World. Of course we want to make sure and get the mouse ears. I read online about a shop where you can pick out the base, ears and patches and they sew it together...is this true?

    Hi, Krista!

You will want to stop by my favorite "ear" shop:  The Chapeau located right on Main Street just as you enter the Magic Kingdom.  They have an amazing selection of mouse ears from pre-made classic Mickey ears to the personalized ones you are looking for.  You really cannot walk into a shop on property without seeing some type of mouse ears, but I find The Chapeau to have a really great selection.

Take your time and have fun!  Pick out your perfect combination that suits your "mouse" style!

Getting a pair of Mickey Mouse ears is so important to get into that Disney spirit!  Have fun creating your one-of-a-kind mouse souvenir.    If you have any other questions when planning your vacation, let me know!  I would love to help you plan your pixie-dusted holiday!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
