Howdy, Rebecca! Thanks for trusting the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help you plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I am so excited for your kids to experience the Disneyland Resort for the first time! My first bit of advice is to get your kids involved in the planning process (unless this is a surprise trip). Show them attraction videos online to get them excited about
all the different attractions they can ride. Knowing what attractions are on the top of their must-do lists will help you develop a schedule. Start your days as early as possible and head straight to the attractions that your kids want to ride the most.
If your kids are thrill seekers, then I definitely recommend adding
Disney MaxPass to your tickets. MaxPass allows you to select FASTPASSES for certain attractions from anywhere in the parks through the Disneyland app. FASTPASSES enable you to skip most of the queue and selecting them on your mobile device also saves you the time and energy from having to visit FASTPASS distribution kiosks.
Next,
research some quick service dining options and perhaps make a reservation or two at table service restaurants. Walking and playing around the parks can sure work up an appetite, so knowing ahead of time where you might like to dine will help you keep everyone's bellies happy. Also, plan to use
mobile order through the Disneyland app to order meals at select quick service restaurants. You can order and pick up your freshly prepared meal all without having to wait in line!
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by again. Happy planning!
