We are taking our kids ages 1, 3 and 6 to WDW in December. I'm planning on one table service meal per day, since I don't think the kids can handle a lot of sitting. Do you recommend doing character dining for breakfast or for dinner?

    Hi Amy!
I love visiting WDW during Christmas! It's a tricky thing figuring out how little ones will behave while on vacation. My children aren't the staying put kind but there's so much going on during character dining, they hardly get a chance to do much other than eat and wait for characters to come visit our table. Character dining is so special, children usually enjoy the experience and behave pretty well. So I wouldn't worry about them sitting for long because they will have lots of entertainment while they eat.
I prefer to make reservations for character dining during breakfast. If it's not available, then we usually try to make reservations for early dinner. A good idea would be to alternate character dining from breakfast to dinner on each day of your vacation. And try to make your reservations at the same hours you would usually have these meals at home. Hope this helps!
    Have a magical vacation!
