Taking my husband and kids to DW for the first time, staying on resort 10/14-10/20. Kinda confused as far as the Magical Express when we get to Orlando. Do we collect our luggage first then go to the area?Very overwhelmed, how to plan this once we land?

    Hi Jeremy!

Congratulations on planning YOUR FIRST TRIP to Walt Disney World!!!  This will be a most special trip for all of you, being able to experience the magic and wonder that is Disney!

One of the wonderful perks that are afforded to Disney World resort guests is Magical Express.  The ability to get off the plane and not need to worry about luggage is truly a God send.  Prior to leaving your house, you will be mailed bright yellow tags which need to be affixed to your luggage.  When you arrive at the airport, you do not need to look for your luggage, or retrieve your luggage.  You are free to hop on to Magical Express and head to your home away from home.  Your luggage will then arrive in your room up to 3 hous post check in.  It's always beneficial to pack an carry on bag, just in case there is a delay with luggage, and you have an event or pool time in mind.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
