Taking a group of Girl Scouts (high school) in June 2013 & there will be about 40 people total. I would like to make 1 special dining reservation...any suggestions? Charactores would be fun. Also, have you ever participated in the youth education

    Hi there, Angela!

Depending upon the goal of your trip, Disney's Youth Education Series might be just perfect. Not only will the facilitators work with your group of Scouts to develop a program that's tailored to your specific focus, but you'll have a team of expert planners to assist you in scoring those reservations for large groups. They can be reached at 877-WD-YOUTH, and more information is available at http://www.DisneyYouth.com.

The packages, incidentally, do include some price breaks on tickets, which can definitely help defray the cost of the trip -- always a plus!

Dining with a group that size can be super-fun -- but ensuring that you are all together can take some careful strategizing. Because of the number of people in your party, you will need to start the process of directly with Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE, and you'll be put in touch with Group Dining. While I would love to recommend some specific restaurants to you, I am reluctant to do so without knowing how best you will be accommodated.

But if I might, I would suggest trying for a breakfast at 'Ohana (featuring Mickey, Lilo, Stitch, and Pluto in Hawaiian gear), or any meal at Chef Mickey's (starring the Fab Five in their chef garb). 'Ohana has several long tables that can be used for many Guests, and Chef Mickey's has actual alcoves that might work perfectly. Again, you'll need to get the process started with Group Dining.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
