taking grandma on upcoming trip. cant afford the suites but do know that 3 adults and two kiddos (even w 1 in a crib) may be too crowded for a Carribean room. Any suggestions? Are Coronado rooms larger?

If space is your number one priority, Bill, you definitely don't want to switch to Coronado Springs.  Standard rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach resort are second in size (among moderate resorts) to the cabins at Fort Wilderness.  Caribbean Beach rooms are about 340 square feet, while Coronado's rooms are about 315 square feet (as are those at Port Orleans).  You would gain significant space by opting to stay at Fort Wilderness, where each cabin boasts just over 500 square feet of space to stretch out.  Guests staying there also enjoy full kitchens and a separate bedroom.  All food for thought!  I hope that helps.
