We are taking are grandkids to Disneyland in May 2019 what is the best way to see the parade Disney does in the evening where should we sit or stand there will be 11 grandkids with us.

    Hi again, Brian!

Thanks for sending this Disneyland Resort question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are you and your grandchildren getting excited to visit the Happiest Place on Earth? I hope you’re enjoying making all the pixie-dusted plans!

Although the entertainment schedule has not yet been released for next spring, there’s sure to be a parade that your whole group can enjoy together. The most popular viewing area is right on the curbs that line the parade route, so you’ll see folks begin to claim these spots as the parade time draws near--sometimes more than an hour in advance. A good option for your large group might be to book a dining package if available. This would offer the convenience of reserved viewing for the parade in a prime spot along with a unique dining experience. At the end of the meal your server would give each of you a voucher to enter a reserved viewing area so you can spend less time saving your spots and more time enjoying the park!

Keep an eye on the resort’s entertainment schedule as your trip approaches to see which offering would be best for your family. I hope this helps you plan, Brian. We’d love to hear from you with other questions, so don’t hesitate to send more our way!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
