I am taking my 3 grandkids to disney in April . It's our first trip . I have no idea what to do or where to go . We are staying off site . I need suggestions on where to take them . Thanks in advance

    Hello Andrea!
Speaking from experience, taking your grandchildren to the Walt Disney World Resort is an OUTSTANDING idea!  Since I am not sure about your grandchildren’s ages or the length of your stay, I will provide you with a few of my tried and true basic planning tips.

    1. Remember, you can’t do everything, so narrow your focus to your must-do attractions in each theme park.
    2. Make sure you make your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance. You can find information about the FastPass+ process here.
    3. I highly recommend a character dining experience. Not only is it really fun, it helps you avoid spending time in a line waiting to meet some of the popular characters. You can make your dining reservations starting 180 days from your dining date. Our favorite dining experience with Mickey and the gang is Chef Mickey’s. If Winnie the Pooh and his friend from the 100 Acre Woods are some of your favorites, then check out The Crystal Palace.
    4. If you enjoy reading, get the book “The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.” Not only is it very helpful in the planning process, it is also a really fun read.  If you are not a big reader, look into the authors’ website, They have a subscription service that can help you with itinerary planning. I use it for almost every trip we take.
    5. Purchase Memory Maker. With this great photo service, you will be able to capture many great moments with the grand kids AND be in the picture as well.

If you have any more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help! For a little inspiration, check out the attached video.

    See ya real soon!
