I am taking my granddaughter "first visit 3 years 10 months" to Disney for 3 full days late May. As far as fast pass, how far out do you recommend booking? 10:30-11:30 than 11:30-12:30 or should I book time further out?

    Hi Kenneth,

How wonderful to take your granddaughter for her first visit to Walt Disney World. There is so much magic for preschoolers to experience at Walt Disney World!

I am glad to hear that you are taking advantage of Disney's FastPass+ system. This system will allow you to experience some attractions with shortened wait times. I believe that you are asking how close together to book your Disney FastPass+ selections. I tend to book my windows as close together as possible. So I would book one window for 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and another right after at 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Especially if you get to the first attraction toward the beginning of the time window, at 10:30 a.m., you will typically have plenty of time to get to the next one, especially by the end of the second hour.

Also, consider where you are booking your Disney FastPass+ selections. I like to group mine near to each other, or at least so I am not crossing the park and having to cross back again. For your granddaughter, you may find that there are lots of attractions she wants to experience in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. Making three Disney FastPass+ selections in a row in this area will cut down on your walking, and if you have some time in between, you can experience the other attractions nearby.

I also like booking my Disney FastPass+ selections as early in the day as possible. Using your example, I would also book one from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. I like to schedule these early because once you have used all three, you will be able to book a fourth using the kiosks in the park or using the My Disney Experience app on your phone. Once you have used the fourth one, you can book a fifth, and so on and so forth, for the rest of the day, depending on availability.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, Kenneth!
