Hiya Vickie - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
I'm so excited to hEAR about your trip coming up in July - it's so great that you're taking your grandchildren!
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing, so you'll have lots of exciting new things to experience while you're here. You're going to make some magical memories!
Mickey certainly does have some great
Special Offers available exclusively for Florida Residents and I'm glad to hear that your husband has already been able to get his ticket. For each ticket or pass purchased for an adult, you must provide a valid Florida driver's license or state-issued ID card with a Florida address, or a valid Florida-based military ID. These forms of residency proof are eligible for online verification when purchasing tickets, which means you don't have to stop at Guest Relations to activate the tickets.
If you do
not have one of these forms of identification for yourself, there are
several other acceptable pieces of documentation that can be provided
in person at a Guest Relations location to prove Florida resident status. Be sure to review
the requirements carefully. I've not heard of any exceptions being made, but you can always
contact a Cast Member to further discuss your unique situation. If you do purchase a Florida resident ticket, but ultimately do not provide adequate proof of your Florida residency, I believe you would simply be asked to pay the price difference to modify it to a Standard Theme Park Ticket at Guest Relations.
I hope this information is helpful -
please stop by again with any other questions!
