I think it all depends on the family. Each of the Princess experiences I've taken my daughter to (Akershus, Cinderella's Royal Table, 1900 Park Fare), I would say it's been 50/50 of girls who dressed up vs. didn't. If it would be special to your girls, then definitely dress them in their favorite princess dress and have them showcase it! In addition to all the extra attention they get from other guests, the Princesses will also mention how beautiful they look when they're at the table. Also, if they happen to be wearing the costume of the Princess they meet (like, say, Belle), the Princesses will generally walk right up to them when they are in the vicinity. Just little things to make them feel extra special...
