We are taking our 2 girls 8&5 for the first time in November with both sets of grandparents and my brother in law. We are staying at Coronado Springs. It is so huge! Where should we stay there? Are there golf carts for tired elders and whiney children?

    Hi Mindy,

Coronado Springs is a huge resort, but it's not unmanageable. There is, indeed, internal transportation around the lagoon for people who find walking difficult. There are also several (3 or 4) bus stops to take guests to the parks, so you never have to walk too far at one time if you don't want to.

I recommend requesting Cabanas 8B or 9B. 8B will seem far away when you first arrive, but it is close to the pool, and there is a bus stop nearby. 9B is closer to the main building, so if you plan on eating many of your meals there, that would be the better option. Casitas 1 is also a nice location.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
