Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are taking our girls to Disney next Saturday (the 9th) for the week! I am so excited. They still have no idea:) We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. I am hoping we made the right decision. It looks beautiful but is it kid friendly?

    Hi Melissa!  Oh, EVERY Disney resort is kid friendly from the majestic Grand Floridian to the outdoors of Fort Wilderness. I think you will be very pleased with your choice and your girls will be bouncing off the walls with excitement. They will want to spend a lot of time in the great Doubloon Lagoon free form pool that is centered around a huge sea serpent! Make sure you take pictures of them sliding down its tongue into the water! The resort offers boating, fishing, biking, carriage rides, and an arcade for additional costs but the convenience is wonderful to have it all at your fingertips.  You can take a water taxi to Downtown Disney for more shopping and dining or take the buses for easy transportation to the parks. I absolutely think you made the perfect decision for this wonderful surprise trip! Have a great time!
