Greetings, Jon, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you and your girlfriend are ready for some spook-tacular fun at the Happiest Place on Earth!
It appears that we may have missed your most recent visit to the Disneyland Resort, but just in case you’re planning to visit again this week, I wanted to pass along some helpful tips. Unfortunately, tickets to
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party are sold out online. However, a couple weeks ago, additional tickets were released, but only made available by phone. So, if you’re still interested in trying to nab tickets to this frightfully-fun event, I recommend calling (714) 781-4636 as soon as possible! The final three Oogie Boogie Bash events of the 2019
Halloween Time season will take place on October 27, October 29, and October 31. I’m crossing my fingers and throwing some pixie dust your way that you’ll be able to find tickets for you and your girlfriend!
I had the chance to attend Oogie Boogie Bash recently, and I absolutely loved it! My favorite event experiences were
Villains Grove,
DescenDANCE, and the immersive
Treat Trails. I recommend eating dinner before the event so you don’t have to stop mid-party for a meal. There are so many things to see and do, you won’t want to waste any time if you can help it! Recently, I headed to Villains Grove at the very end of the event, and loved taking my time experiencing the enchanting, mystical grounds of Redwood Creek Challenge Trail without many Guests behind me. I highly recommend experiencing it this way, if you can!
If Oogie Boogie Bash isn’t in the cards for you and your girlfriend this year, there are still plenty of ways to help her fall in love with Disney! For starters, how about taking her to
Blue Bayou Restaurant for a special date night? Or splurging on a
World of Color Dessert Party for prime viewing and delicious sweet treats? I got my husband hooked on the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort – you can’t help but fall in love with the magic, joy, and wonder of thousands of twinkling lights at the
“it’s a small world” Holiday Lighting, or the gentle snowfall at the end of
“Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular!
Best of luck, Jon!
