I am taking my girlfriend to WDW and Cruise after I return from Iraq. This is during our birthdays, but I plan on asking her to marry me. What are some places and ideas to pop the question both at WDW & on the Cruise and how to get Disney involved?

What an exciting time for you!  Thank you for your service to this country and Disney is a great place to start the magic for a long lifetime of happiness together!

There are many super spots for proposals at Walt Disney World and on the cruise.  My son proposed on the fabulous Grand 1 Yacht but that can be pricey so here are some other wonderful thoughts.

Breathless ChrisCraft boat out of the Yacht and Beach Club marina: you have a special spot to watch Illuminations and you can order champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to be on board.  It is a very romantic boat and would just be for you two and the driver.

Carriage rides at Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans.  When booking for the Fort Wilderness one ask the reservation cast member that you wish to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks and she will book a double reservation for you.

Any of the fine restaurants on property from the exquisite chefs table at Victoria and Alberts to a fun spot if you like humor like 50's Primetime Cafe.  You can call these places directly to alert them and they will offer their help and suggestions.

Palos adult only restaurant on the cruise ship....ask them to "hide" the ring etc.

Adult only beach on Castaway Cay has many possibilities...could also book a couples beach side massage in the private cabanas and work with the spa members to help you with the proposal.

Perhaps a character can help deliver the ring with a proposal on the grand staircase of the ship.

You can call the Disney florist and they will be more then happy to help you arrange for flowers and other special things to be delivered to the location you decide on.  407-827-3505  They love to help make dreams come true and will have many more creative thoughts to make it as special as possible!
