Bright Suns, Guillermo,
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you and your band of rebels are coming to visit the galaxy far, far away (also known as Walt Disney World Resort). I know that sometimes the sticker shock of planning a vacation for that many people can send you retreating to the Outer Rim, but just like rebellions are built on hope, I hope that I can help you have an incredible vacation.
While Deluxe Villas will certainly give you the most space and comfort, for a Jedi on a budget, I recommend three options that may be more cost-effective. The first is to reserve a family suite at
Art of Animation Resort or
All-Star Music Resort. These intricately themed rooms typically have space for up to 6 Guests and include some separate sleeping rooms and two bathrooms! This would allow most of you to spread out. The Lion King Family Suite also has one of my favorite features: a sink area separate from the toilet area. This is perfect for multiple adults sharing a room who are all trying to get ready in the morning with only two bathrooms. The family suites also include a small sitting area, which would be great for you all to spend time together, and a small kitchenette to save on meals. Since you mentioned you may have more than 6 Guests, you will likely need to book an additional room. You can request that the additional room be adjoining to the suite (subject to availability) so you all can be close to each other and have even more space. You can also just request two adjoining rooms to begin with, in lieu of a suite, if you find that the cost for the family suite is too many credits (which is my second suggestion). Speaking of credits, after you start adding up the costs, you may find that the costs for these two options are equal to the costs of staying at a moderate (or even deluxe) resort. This is where the fun begins, Guillermo (and my third recommendation). For example, one of my favorite resorts is
Coronado Springs Resort, and the executive suite sleeps up to 8 adults with more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. It also feels like a Deluxe Villa but at the Moderate Resort price. While researching your question, I saw that the cost of two rooms at a Value Resort (which you would likely need and prefer for space) was only a couple of hundred dollars less than the executive suite for the same date. So you just never know! Always check the
Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page to see if the Rebel Alliance snuck in any deals that could make your vacation even more affordable.
Before I let you go, Guillermo, let me share one final tip. Book a
Vacation Package! With a Vacation Package (which is a specific type of booking that includes both your theme park tickets and resort hotel reservation), you don’t have to pay for all your vacation at once. Depending on when you book, you will pay a small deposit, then make payments toward your final balance up to 30 days before your arrival. This helps you spread out the cost and be much more budget-friendly. I hope this was helpful, Guillermo. If you need anything else, please come back and see us. We would be happy to help a fellow Jedi navigate the Most Magical galaxy on Earth.
Happy Planning and May the Force Be With You,
Ashley F.
