I am taking a friend to WDW for the 1st time and have 2 days with 1/2 being at MNSSHP and 1 park per day tkts. 1st day is at Epcot b4 the party to get tipsy lol. Should we go to HS or MK for the 2nd full day? SWGE will be open in HS by then, but crowds?

    Hello Ciara!

How glorious! A friend's trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. You made an excellent choice with Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  This is a great year to go as Disney is debuting a new firework spectacular to celebrate this spooktacular holiday.

You are correct that your arrival date is just over one week after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Disney's Hollywood Studios will for sure be very busy. However, if you can make FastPass+ selections for the attractions you want to experience while visiting and you can arrive well before the park opens, you should be ok.

But, with that said, if it were me, I would opt to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom. There you can experience the fantastic sites in Pandora - The World of Avatar, visit the Himalayas on Expedition Everest and enjoy some of the most spectacular shows at the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney's Animal Kingdom may also be very busy due to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, but with the large capacity of the shows and massive attractions like Kilimanjaro Safari, the crowds are often more manageable.

Whatever you decide, traveling to Walt Disney World with a friend is its own special kind of magic. I am confident that you will have a fantastic time!

    See ya real soon,
