We are taking our four-year-old daughter to WDW in February. I am looking for a coffee table style photo book (not a guide book) that has recent photos of the Disney World parks. All I can find are ones like "The first 25 years" and such. Any ide

Debra, next month you will be right in the middle of the magic!

What a wonderful way to build excitement about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World-books! As a Pre-K teacher and former librarian, I believe reading is a wonderful way to introduce children to new topics and experiences. You are correct that coffee table books typically do not have the type of content you are looking for. My suggestion would be to consider books about WDW especially written for children. Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids has pictures of the attractions, stickers, and maps. Another good choice full of photos for your daughter to pour over is Brinbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids.

Just for fun consider the Sherman brothers' It's a Small World illustrated by Joey Chou. This book captures the feel and playfulness of this iconic ride and comes with a CD of the catchy music.

I hope your princess loves reading about and visiting Walt Disney World! Please contact me again if you have any additional questions.
