    I will be taking my five year old twins to Disney November 2012. We do not use a stroller for them at home on a regular basis. However, I am considering taking strollers to Disney due to the excessive walking required within the parks. Any opinions?

    Hi Bethany!

    Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in November!  It's my absolute favorite time of year to go, with wonderful weather and the beginning of the Christmas Season decor - it's an absolute delight!

    When our children were very small, we found it most convenient to take our own lightweight, easy-to-fold strollers with us.  There was also quite a bit of transport involved outside of the Parks themselves - at the Resorts, in Downtown Disney, between Transportation System rides, etc...  We also enjoyed having a place for them to sleep when needed, without having to go to the rooms for naps.

    However, around the age of 4 we stopped taking the strollers with us.  The children don't usually take naps any longer at this age, and usually want to walk themselves.  Since your own children don't use strollers much at home, I bet they will do just fine.

    The great thing is that if you find they are getting extremely tired and unable to handle it, you can rent single or double strollers inside the Parks.  These strollers are great, extremely easy to move around, and have lots of room for the kids and any other goodies you may be toting along with you.  We have had to rent them a couple of times when we did not take strollers but the kids needed a break during the week, usually at a larger Park, such as EPCOT, which requires more walking.
