We are taking our fist ever cruise on May 10, 2011 with the Disney Cruise Line on Wonder to Alaska. We would like to use the pools on this cruise. I read somewhere on-line that the pools will be heated for the Alaskan cruises. Is this true?

    Hi, JoAnne!

Congratulations on your first cruise aboard the Disney Wonder to Alaska -- you are going to be thrilled and amazed at the ship and her ports of call. The swimming pools on Disney Cruise Line (DCL) ships are heated when the water temperature drops below 75 degrees. Therefore, I think you'll be cozy and comfortable in and out of the water! Of course, there are also other places to sport a swimsuit on board, too -- the Vista Spa as well as the whirlpool spas on deck.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
