We will be taking our first vacation to Disney World on may 2nd we have 7 day tickets with park hopper. It will be my husband and I our 15yr old daughter and 8yr old son.My question is how is the weather and crowds usually around this time? Thanks

    Hi Kelly!

This sounds like a great trip!  I used to worry that as my children got older they would lose their love for Walt Disney World, but at 14 and 11, they love it just as much (if not more) than ever.  I think your kids will too.

We have been the first week of May and it was very nice.  Temperatures are usually in the low-80's for a high and mid-60's for a low.  That is perfect in my book.  You may want to throw in a poncho or umbrella. Orlando is notorious for rain showers, but they don't usually last long.

Crowd levels will be pretty nice, as well.  According to touringplans.com, they are predicted to be around a 5 or 6 (with10 being the highest level) for that week.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your first trip!
