We are taking our first trip to WDW. We will have a 4yr, 3yr, and 1.5yr old with us. Our plan is to stay at AOA. Will there be enough room in the mermaid room for all of us? (I'm thinking 2 beds, pack n play, stroller, bags, etc.)

    Hello Becky!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is one of the most beautiful Disney Resort hotels, and it puts you right in the middle of beloved animation classics.

My husband, daughter and I have already stayed in a Little Mermaid standard room and the space provided was enough for the three of us, our luggage and our stroller. However, if I had three young children this would not be my choice of accommodation. You will have more luggage, a pack ‘n play, and at least one stroller, not to mention that you will need more room to store snacks, food and other items for your children.

That is why I recommend staying at a family suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. You will be comfortably settled with a kitchenette, two bathrooms, a table-bed, a sofa bed, and a separate room with a queen bed. I also suggest staying at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort to enjoy a full kitchen. You can save a little more by staying at a family suite at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, but if you prefer to stay at a standard room at a value resort, I recommend the renovated rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort. You will have room to store your luggage under the queen bed, lots of places to put your things away, and the table-bed can be closed during the day to give you more room before the older kids go to sleep.

I hope this helps you while planning, Becky! Stop by real soon if you have additional questions.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
