Hello. We are taking our first trip to WDW in October. I have a 3 year old daughter and 7 yo son. What tips/recommendations do you have for booking fast passes and other rides they can do together? Thanks!

    Hi Josie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for your little ones!

First, I suggest that you review the Planning for Preschool Kids and Little Ones Guide. Then check the Attractions List to see the height requirements for attractions your children might enjoy. Make sure you know the Fast Pass Tiers before making Fast Pass+ selections. Here are some attractions I think they might both like at each park:

    • Magic Kingdom - Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Barnstormer, Mad Tea Party, Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Tomorrowland Speedway and Swiss Family Treehouse
    • Epcot - Frozen Ever After, Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination with Figment, Advanced Training Lab, Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival, The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Innoventions
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania! and Alien Swirling Saucers
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kilimanjaro Safaris and Na'vi River Journey

Josie, remember to check out the character experiences and shows at each park. We love the Happily Ever After Fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. Finally, I must add that your 7-year old son might be ready to join the Jedi Knights to battle the Dark Side in Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. If so, be sure to arrive at park opening to sign up!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
