We are taking our first trip to WDW in Feb with our 2 girls, 4 & 7, and staying at the Polynesian w/ a lagoon view. Wondering which of the long houses are convenient to get to the monoral yet quiet enough as my kids are early to bed and early to rise

    Hi Marni,

Tahiti is our favorite building.  It's a bit of a walk to the main building and the resort monorail, but it's just steps away from the Transportation and Ticket Center.  This makes access to all parks quite convenient.  Plus, it's location is away from the main pool, so that adds to the quiet, peaceful feeling you get when staying at this resort.

Keep in mind, especially with a lagoon view, that you'll be hearing music from the Electric Water Pageant that makes its way around Seven Seas Lagoon most evenings around 9:00 PM.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
