It's great to see you here again today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tina!
Wow, your very first trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I absolutely thrilled that you're going to get to experience the Most Magical Place On Earth for the very first time this year. There is so much to see and do and so many wonderful memories for you to make while you're there. I'm excited for you just thinking about it! I'm sure you have so many questions and lot's of details you want to nail down, so I'm happy to walk you through the different modes of transportation that are available and which one would be best for getting you from your dinner at
Cape May Cafe to
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.
Especially because it's the very first day of your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I recommend using
Minnie Van Service to pick you up at
Disney's Beach Club Resort.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground has an internal bus system that you would need to use to get to the Sing-A-Long, but since the Minnie Van can take you straight back there it definitely is my preferred way to travel. Plus, you get the benefit of a Disney Cast Member to yourself for as long as it takes to get there, and I have found that the Cast Members driving Minnie Vans are always super knowledgeable about everything Disney-related and have lots of great advice and tips to share. I'm sure they'd be happy to answer any questions you have about your first trip!
Of course, you also have the option of using Disney's
complimentary bus transportation. It's recommended that you leave yourself 90 minutes to get to your destination if you're using
Walt Disney World Resort transportation and have a few transfers, and since the campfire begins at 8 p.m., it might be a bit of a tight squeeze after your dinner reservation. Disney's Beach Club Resort is walking distance from the International Gateway entrance of
Epcot, so you can walk from there through World Showcase and Future World to the front of the park to catch the bus to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground where you'll be able to board that internal bus back to the show. Since this method would require theme park admission and probably the full 90 minutes you have, I heartily recommend taking advantage of the Minnie Van service!
Have a magical day, Tina!
