Hi there, Danielle! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question. I am so excited that you are planning your first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I just returned from a magical visit to the parks where I dined at quite a few quick and table service restaurants. While soy milk was not available, there were other dairy-free beverages for children including juices and water. You are free to bring in your own soy milk if you would prefer as long as it isn’t packaged in a glass container. If it’s shelf stable, simply toss it in your backpack or if you want to bring a small cooler and store it in a locker, you can to do so as well.
Additionally, you will find that the Disneyland Resort makes traveling with a food allergy as stress free as possible. There are allergy-friendly menus available at all restaurants and you can even view some of those menus online. For instance, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Flo’s V8 Café, and many others list their allergy menus online and on the
Disneyland app. You can even ask to speak to a chef or specially-trained Cast Member about your dietary needs before ordering your meal.
There are even some extra special treats that your son might want to try. The lemon soft-serve at
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats on the new Pixar Pier is non-dairy and can be served plain or with a blue raspberry swirl. Or try the guest-favorite pineapple Dole Whip at the Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland which is also dairy free. This classic treat is available in soft-serve or as a float with pineapple juice.
I hope this information was useful. Please stop by again if you have any other questions!
