Aloha Jennifer,
Congratulations on your first trip to Disney World! You're going to have a great time!
My family and I went to
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show again in June. My boys are now 5 & 9 but they liked it when they were closer to your kids' ages. It is family friendly and features a lot of music, dancing & even a guy twirling fire which my youngest still talks about. At one point during the show, kids are invited on stage to learn the hula. The fast pace seemed to hold the attention of most of the kids around us too.
The courses of the dinner are timed just right. Salad and bread are waiting at your table when you arrive. No wait time keeps kids occupied so that they don't get antsy. Disney has this down to a science.
This is one of the shows I pay to get the best seats so our kids can have a good view. There is a couple of times that the performers come through the audience but for the most part, the action takes place on and just in front of the stage. Going to the earlier seating may be better so that your kids are fresh and full of energy.
Spirit of Aloha is a popular dinner show. If you think you'd like to go, I'd recommend trying to get reservations now since your trip is coming up. Reservations can be made
online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
My boys also loved
Mickey's Backyard BBQ at that age. Let me know if you have any questions about this super fun show.
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
