Hi Michaun!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so happy to help you plan your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort, which will definitely be an amazing vacation. I recently took a trip to Disneyland Resort with fellow Panelists and it was so fun to compare the attractions, entertainment and food offerings of the two resorts!
We have enjoyed Walt Disney World Resort vacations both with and without the Park Hopper Option added to our
theme park tickets and both ticket types allow Guests to make awesome vacation itineraries. Generally, if we will be visiting the theme parks for four days, we don't add the Park Hopper Option to our tickets as I think the perfect itinerary for a four day trip is to visit one theme park per day of our vacation. Each of the parks have so much magic for Guests to explore and enjoy that for your four days, I don't think you will need to hop between parks on each day.
Keep in mind that there is a significantly greater distance between the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks than there is between the theme parks at Disneyland Resort. It's so nice that when you are going from Disneyland Park to Disney's California Adventure Park that you can quickly walk between the two. However, at Walt Disney World Resort, hopping between parks requires a trip using a complimentary resort transportation bus or monorail. So I think standard theme park tickets without the Park Hopper Option will work great for your vacation, which will save you a little bit in your budget for extra Dole Whips and souvenEARs!
Be sure to plan to include a stop at
Disney Springs during your trip so you can enjoy this area's amazing shopping, dining and entertainment. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
