Hi Moms! We are taking our first trip to disney Sept 25-Oct.2; my 4 girls are so excited (ages 8, almost 7 year old twins and 20 months)! Aside from all the magical disney experiences inside the parks, would you consider LaNoube or other shows for extra $

    Hi Kristen:

My family generally takes in at least one show or special experience during our Disney World vacations that is above-and-beyond the regular park experience. It's likely your 20-month old may not appreciate the shows as much as the rest of the family, but it's probably worth it to check out one of the shows. I am a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba at Downtown Disney. For my family, the most fun show is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Hoop-Dee-Doo is a wonderful family experience, plus you get dinner too. The show is entertaining, the cast is talented, the atmosphere is festive, the jokes are plentiful (and corny), and the food is finger-licking tasty.

Hoop-Dee-Doo is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted. The food and most drinks are all-you-can-consume, so you'll leave satisfied.
