    Hello. We are taking our first trip with our children, ages 4 and 5, to disney world in one week. I am wondering if there is any advice on the best shoes to wear for exploring disney world this time of year. Thanks!

    Your trip will be here before you know it!

    Shoes can make or break a vacation, especially one with a lot of walking. I personally opt for comfort over fashion when at Disney. I bring 2 choices for everyone and I've found that we all tend to alternate to give our feet a break. My children often wear their sneakers the most, except when we go to the Animal Kingdom. This is because we always ride Kali River Rapids, a ride in which you will get wet and you may get soaked. For that Park, they wear their Teva sandals. I also throw a pair of flip-flops in the suitcase for everyone to wear to the Water Parks and the pool. They aren't the best thing to wear all day long for walking in the Parks though.
