We are taking our first, and probably ONLY, trip to Disney World this January 2013. I have a 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. What are some MUST DO things that I need to fit in to our 7 day stay? We are lodging at Animal Kingdom.

I am thrilled to report that with seven days you and the family are going to be able to enjoy all of Walt Disney World. Based on my experiences you will be able to visit 1 park each day. Some people think that Disney's Hollywood Studios does not require a full day. Either way, I just know that you will still have time to even enjoy one of the great water parks. The closest one to Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort is Blizzard Beach which is my personal favorite. I am also just thrilled that you are staying at Animal Kingdom. If you have never stayed there before, you are sure in for a treat. The African savannas with the giraffes, zebras and more really separates this hotel from all the others. The lobby is grand and worth just sitting in and looking around. There is a really great viewing area just off of the hotel check in the provides a breath taking view of the entire area. I must admit I spent more time on my balcony watching the animals just stroll by my window then watching TV and it was pure heaven. I am so excited for you on this trip. As for must do's I can offer you a few suggestions. Take the kids to Club Cool at Epcot and try sodas from around the globe. Make them taste the Beverly for a fun time. Make sure to take a ride on the Monorail and a boat to at least one of the parks. Plan some great meals. Watch Wishes. I have so many more great ideas to make this the best vacation ever. Ask me another question and I will gladly assist.
