Ahoy, Erin!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to have an unforgettable adventure with your mom and daughters - how special! When we set sail with Disney, we often bring my parents along, too. Seeing the interaction between my folks and my son while sailing the high seas are memories I'll cherish forever. Setting sail on a multi-generational Disney Cruise is so fun because there is something for everyone to enjoy onboard!
Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures are always an exciting way to see the culture and beauty of a port of call, but not the only way! In my opinion, you've chosen the perfect itinerary for exploring each port of call on your own! In both Key West and Nassau, there will be a ton of shops, local merchants and restaurants just a short walk from where your ship will be docked. You'll receive a
Port Shopping Guide the evening before arriving at both ports of call. This shopping guide will also have a map of the area, too. Even if you don't purchase any trinkets, you and your family will have a great time walking around and exploring each island.
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay is one of my favorite places on Earth! If you'd like to pack your day with fun, you'll have a schedule of complimentary activities to choose from listed in your Personal Navigator newsletter. After you've walked around the island, splashed in the ocean and grabbed a delicious barbecue lunch, I recommend grabbing a couple beach chairs under some palm trees and relaxing the afternoon away with your Disney Cruise ship off in the distance as the perfect backdrop. Ahhhh...now that sounds like paradise!
