We are taking our first family trip to Disney this year and want to enjoy the pools and warm weather. We were thinking of traveling Sept, Oct or Nov. what is the weather like those months and the crowds. Thank you

    Hi Elizabeth!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I am excited that you are taking your first family trip to Walt Disney World this year!

September, October and November (with the exception of Thanksgiving Week, and Thanksgiving Day) are very good months to visit Walt Disney World - the crowds are generally low to moderate, and very manageable - ideal for your first visit.  The average high/low temperatures are as follows:

September 90/72 (average rainfall 5.8 inches)
October 85/65 (average rainfall 2.7 inches)
November 79/59 (average rainfall 2.3 inches).

As you can see, it will most likely be warm enough during all three months to enjoy the pools.  However, weather can always be temperamental and do strange things!

Have fun deciding when to visit, then please come back with any other planning questions - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
