We are taking our first Disney Vacation in July 09. Our flight does not arrive until late evening, and I was wondering if our first night's stay will require a park hopper for that day? I don't see how we will have time to do anything once we arrive.

    Hello Teresa!

The only way that one of your tickets will be used is if you plan to visit one of the parks on your arrival day. It only counts as a day of your tickets when you scan them at the park turnstiles. Since you mentioned a late arrival, it doesn't sound that touring one of the parks is in your plans for that day.

Depending on the time you arrive, consider spending time relaxing and getting a feel for the layout of your resort. If it isn't too late, a visit to Downtown Disney may be a good idea to grab a quick dinner and browse the shops. Downtown Disney doesn't require an admission ticket. No matter what you decide, be sure to get a good nights sleep so you can hit the ground running the next day!

Have a wonderful first visit to Disney World! Be sure to get "1st Visit" buttons for everyone in your party so you can celebrate in style!
