Hi ! We are taking our very FIRST Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral, Florida in July. I am hoping that someone who has traveled with food allergies on a Disney Cruise can comment as to their experience !

    Hi Cheryl,

So excited to hear that this will be your first Disney cruise!  You're going to have such a great time!  I have to say that Disney Cruise Line is exceptional at handling dietary restrictions and food allergies. You won't have any issues dining onboard. Please call the cruise line before sailing and tell the reservationist what the food allergies are (in detail). It will be noted on your reservation. On your first evening, your Server will ask if there are any food allergies they need to be concerned with. Go ahead and remind them. Your evening Servers follow you throughout the cruise, dining room to dining room, and really get to know you. They'll take care of you.

If you are having breakfast or lunch in one of the dining rooms please inform your Server of the food allergies. They will accommodate your diet. The same goes with the quick serve establishments on the pool deck. They have the ingredients list for everything that is prepared. They are trained and happy to help anyone who needs it.

Have a wonderful time on your trip Cheryl! Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
