We are taking our first Disney Cruise in May 2016. I have been reading that the Disney Dream is everyone's favorite cruise ship. We are taking the Fantasy. Can you tell me why the Dream is preferred over the Fantasy? Thank you :)

    Welcome aboard, Melissa!

Awesome to hear that you'll be sailing on a magical voyage for the very 1st time next year - YAY! The majestic Disney Fantasy will take you on an unforgettable 7-night adventure out on the high seas. Be prepared to be pampered throughout your voyage - there will be loads of fun activities waiting for you and your family.

The 2 largest ships of the Disney fleet are the Dream and the Fantasy. With an identical ship configuration, you'll be cruising in style on either one of them. The Dream whisks away guests to most of the 3 and 4 night cruises to the Bahamas. The Fantasy never disappoints, as it takes the longer cruises (7-nights) to the Caribbean. The port of calls may be different, but both will make a stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.

My family would gladly pick the longer cruises. We just can't get enough of this high caliber vacation style out on the high seas! You've got amazing Broadway-style shows in the evenings and world class dining experiences onboard. And the amenities are top notch. Wait 'til the kids get a load of the Youth Clubs -- you may not see them until midnight :-).

Get ready to make some unforgettable memories on Captain Mickey's ship, Melissa!

    Happy cruising,
    ~ Dolly
