Ahoy, Denise!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations to your soon-to-be graduate! Setting sail on your first Disney Cruise is such a special way to celebrate this milestone! I remember my parents surprising me with a trip to Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate my high school graduation. I'll never forget that trip and have no doubts that your child will feel the same!
I'm so excited to share some ideas of ways to make this cruise special! First, sail over to the
Gifts & Amenities page located on the Disney Cruise Line website for special celebratory gifts you can pre-order before your cruise. These gifts and decorations will "magically" appear inside your stateroom upon your arrival. Your graduate will be so surprised to see the stateroom decorated in his/her honor! You can even order a delicious celebration cake, too. Another idea that might be fun is to make matching shirts to wear. Many families choose one day to wear matching shirts that say what they're celebrating. I'm sure Guests and Cast Members will love coming up to your graduate to offer their congratulations! Then, you can stop by one of the
onboard photographers and get a family photo taken together!
If you haven't done so already, give the helpful agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 and let them know that you will be celebrating your child's high school graduation during your cruise. They'll make a note on your reservation and once onboard, your Server and Assistant Server will see this note and possibly give your graduate a pixie-dusted dessert one evening in the Main Dining restaurant!
Denise, your inaugural Disney Cruise is going to be unforgettable! Thanks so much for stopping by!
