Welcome Aboard, Elizabeth!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel - we're happy to help!
Congratulations on booking your first Disney Cruise - you will be so happy you did. You and your girls are in for an amazing vacation with Captain Mickey and his crew!
One of the best things about a Disney Cruise is that you can do as much or as little as you want. Some guests plan lots of Port Adventures, Spa Services and Adult Dining experiences, and some just "go with the flow" and plan their days after they board the ship. We are somewhere in the middle, as we like to have a few plans set in stone and let the rest just happen!
I encourage you to take a look at the
Port Adventures available during your sailing. You might just find a "must-do" activity for you and your crew. If you choose to debark in Nassau, it's good to have an activity booked through Disney. On our past few cruises, we've chosen to stay onboard when docked in Nassau and enjoyed smaller crowds at the pools and spa. Definitely explore the Port Adventures offered on your day in
Castaway Cay - there's lots of fun things to do there! Our favorite is to rent bicycles for a relaxing ride around the island.
Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator in your stateroom - a detailed daily schedule with all the times and locations of activities happening around the ship. We like to bring along colored highlighters so each family member can mark activities they don't want to miss! Even if you don't pre-book any activities, you'll find plenty of fun things to do once you're onboard.
Wishing you a most magical voyage on the beautiful Disney Dream! - Diane W.
