We will be taking our first Disney cruise on the Fantasy in November 2025 for 4 nights. Do the ships offer each live show nightly, or are they scheduled, one night per live show per cruise?

    Hiya Rachel!

Welcome back to planDisney! Your first Disney Cruise is such a big adventure, I'm glad I get to help you chart your course a little bit.

The nightly entertainment on a Disney Cruise is such a highlight for my family! While entertainment is always subject to change, typically there are three main shows on a cruise and each show is performed twice in one day in the lovely Walt Disney Theater. At the moment the three shows on the Disney Fantasy are:

    • Frozen, A Musical Spectacular featuring our favorite sisters from Arendelle! While we all love Anna and Elsa, I have to admit that Olaf kind of steals the show. Warm hugs are just the best!
    • Disney's Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular brings the tale of the Genie and his lamp to the sea! With huge production numbers and some new music to go with old favorites, you've never had a stage experience like this one.
    • Disney's Believe is all about the magic of connection and the power of a wish. This is usually the last show of a cruise and it's the perfect finale to a wonderful adventure!
Each show will usually play twice on the same day so that everyone can enjoy dinner in their main dining room rotation and also catch the show. If you have early dining you'll eat before the show, and if you have late dining you'll want to go see the show before heading to dinner. All of the shows are amazing, there honestly isn't one that I would skip!

Since there are three main shows and you're on a 4-night itinerary there will likely be an additional entertainment option for one evening. That might be a movie or a family-friendly entertainment act. There will definitely still be fun activities that night...like a holiday deck party, perhaps! You could also choose to catch a movie in the Buena Vista Theater or on Funnel Vision up on the pool deck. There's something especially awesome about watching a nautical film like The Little Mermaid or Finding Nemo while you're sailing under the stars!

I see that you have a few more questions, Rachel! No worries, I'm happy to sail along on your planning journey with you. Together we can make sure your cruise is smooth sailing!

    Keep moving forward!
