    We are taking our first cruise with our 8 year old autistic son. He is verbal and does very well but may need a little extra supervision/attention while in the play area's etc. Are the onboard activities equipped so he can be there with out a parent?

    Disney Cruise Line goes above and beyond to make sure that every single cruiser has the most magical experience possible. For guests who may need a bit of extra assistance, Disney Cruise Line has a Special Services Team in place to take away any worries and concerns before you travel. They are super helpful, and can answer any and all questions you may have about your son's experience onboard.

    I encourage you to contact the DCL Special Services Team directly at (407)566-3602 to discuss your son's specific needs when it comes to extra supervision and/or attention while under the care of the Youth Counselors. They will be more than happy to field any questions you might have regarding the Youth Clubs, and can provide you with information and peace of mind before your cruise.
