Hello. We are taking our first cruise on the Wonder in June. Several friends mentioned I should see if Disney offers tours of the workings of the ship for my boys (ages 9 & 12). I can't find anything online...could you let me know and how to signup?

    Welcome Aboard, Lisa!
Congratulations on booking your first cruise with Disney Cruise Line! Your boys are at great ages for a cruise, they're going to have a blast aboard the Disney Wonder this summer.

I can understand curious boys wanting to check out the workings of the ship - it's an amazing vessel! Although there are no tours of the "behind the scenes" areas such as the Bridge and Engine Room, there's a Walking Ship Tour on the first day that they would probably enjoy.

The Walking Ship Tour is a guided tour of the ship by Cruise Staff that's usually offered on the first afternoon, around 2:00 or 2:30pm. Simply pick up a Personal Navigator (your daily schedule) at Guest Services when you first board for time and meeting location. The tour gives guests great tips on such things as how to tell the starboard side from port side or how to tell if you're walking in the direction of forward or aft. It's a great way to get your bearings and learn all about your home-away-from-home during your vacation!

June will be here before you know it, so let me know if you have any more planning questions. I'm happy to help! Have  magical day! - Diane W.
