    We are taking our first cruise going to the Western Caribbean. We have port adventures book in Cozumel, Grand Cayman & Falmouth. For gratuities during the excursions will they take US dollars or do we need to do a currency exchange on the ship?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm sure that Captain Mickey is SO excited to have you and your pirate crew onboard as he sets course to the Caribbean! You will love everything about cruising with Disney. There are a couple of ways to receive the list of activities going on around the ship! Each evening you'll receive a Personal Navigator newsletter in your stateroom that will have a schedule of the following day's activities on it. You can also choose to see this schedule by downloading the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for your smartphone prior to your cruise. Beginning on embarkation day, you will have all the ship's activities in the palm of your hand!

    Booking Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line is the best way to see the sights and sounds of each port of call! I'm so excited to hEAR that you've booked excursions in these beautiful ports. I'm happy to share that in the Caribbean (and Bahamas), U.S. dollars are accepted almost everywhere! It has been my family's experience that we've received above and beyond customer service during each Port Adventure booked through Disney Cruise Line. I'm sure that the adventure guides will be so appreciative to receive any well-earned gratuities from your family at the conclusion of the excursion.
